In the food/beverage industry, a filtration process to acquire clear liquid by separating solid material is an important process that determines product quality and identity.
It is common to use a filter aid for filtration, and a diatomite filtration is the mainstream. However, the conventional filtration equipment has the following
problems:
1. A lot of undiluted liquid remains in the equipment after filtration.
2. Collecting cake after use takes time.
3. Cake cannot be collected completely, which places burdens on the drainage equipment.
4. Difficult maintenance and complicated operation
5. It is hard to clean and sterilize the equipment.
To solve these problems, we have invented this Sani Filter that realizes high sanitation, automation, affordability, and small environmental burdens.
1. High sanitation is realized by hot water cleaning and steam pasteurization without microorganism contamination, dirt, and an addition of flavoring.
2. Liquid supply, aid supply, filtration, aid collection, cleaning, and sterilization processes are all automated.
3. Settings required for filtration, such as amount of aid and flow rate of liquid, can be set easily.
4. All the liquid inside the filter is filtrated to be collected completely.
5. Sanitary as no filter cloth is used.
6. A precise metallic filter realizes even and stable filtration. Therefore, not only high-quality reproducibility is gained, but also the amount of filter aid to be used can be reduced.
7. Cake with almost no liquid is discharged by a minimum amount of water to be collected after dewatering, which minimizes environmental burdens.
8. Easy maintenance by adopting sanitary piping.
9. Best suited for high-mix low-volume production.
